ONE (1) MINI PACKER REFUSE TRUCK – #B07017
Public Works Solid Waste requested bids for a mini packer refuse truck. Solid Waste equipment is replaced according to our equipment replacement schedule. The equipment replacement schedule is based on age, mileage, hours of use, and cost of maintenance and upkeep. Solid Waste plans to trade in Unit 495 which has been scheduled for replacement but deferred since 2005. Roy Conley offered a $12,000 trade for Unit 495. Presently there are no mini packer refuse trucks on ebay or Gov Deals however the Central Maintenance Garage feels this is a good offer. This purchase was approved in the 2006 budgeting process.
