·         Adopt on second and final reading, Ordinance No. 8842, authorizing the development agreement and authorizing the reimbursement of city fees related to Rock Chalk Park.

 

·         Adopt on second and final reading, Ordinance No. 8844, a Main Trafficway Ordinance designating streets to be improved/constructed as main trafficways related to Rock Chalk Park.

·         Conduct public hearing to consider the vacation of a right-of-way on Redbud Lane, south of 26th Street in Southridge Addition No. 3, as requested by property owner Bluejay Apartments, Inc.

ACTION:      Approve Text Amendments (TA-8-12-11) and adopt on first reading, Ordinance No. 8682, approving text amendments, TA-8-12-11, to various sections of the City of Lawrence Land Development Code, Chapter 20, regarding revisions to the district criteria and development standards for development adjacent to R (Residential) Districts, clarify other density and dimensional standards, Section 20-1701 to clarify or add terms used in the density and dimensional standards table, and Sections 20-211 and 20-212 to make consistent with potential changes in Article 6

 

·         Consider Comprehensive Plan Amendment, CPA-5-5-11, to Chapter 6 of Horizon 2020 to add policies for the Auto-Related Commercial Centers designation. Initiated by Planning Commission 5/25/11. (PC Item 4; approved 9-0 on 1/28/13)

 

·         Consider Ordinance No. 8840 revising Chapter VI, Article 13, Rental of Dwelling Units, which would expand the rental licensing program to all rented structures within the city with certain exceptions as identified in Ordinance No. 8840.    Staff Memo & Attachments   Correspondence
