The following equipment meets or exceeds the criteria for replacement or is no longer useful to the City. We request City Commission approval to sell the surplus equipment on Gov Deals as we have done in the past.
INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY EQUIPMENT
Information Technology replaced 20 desktop/laptop computers. These computers are 6 to 10 years old and in poor condition. The hard drives have been erased and there is no software installed.
FIRE/MEDICAL EQUIPMENT
Fire/Medical Department has seven (7) copy machines they wish to sell. Their 6 year lease agreement is up and they have been replaced. The machines are in fair condition.
PUBLIC WORKS EQUIPMENT
The Maintenance Garage has miscellaneous equipment that is in poor condition and has been replaced or is no longer needed. The hydraulic pumps being sold no longer fit trucks the City owns. The aluminum mag wheels were standard on a vehicle the City purchased on a bid and were replaced with more appropriate wheels for City use. The police cars are being replaced due to the standard rotation of police vehicles. They have high mileage and high maintenance costs.
