CONTRACT MOWING – LANDSCAPE – PARKS AND RECREATION DEPARTMENT – B1306
The Parks and Recreation Department requested bids for mowing the Landscape Division areas. The areas are scattered throughout the City which includes Police areas, Fire/Medical areas, Public Works areas, Utilities areas and Parks and Recreation areas. This is a one year agreement with four one year renewal periods providing both the City and the vendor agree and funds are available.
Lawn Tamers bid on area 2 only, Mike’s Lawrence Service was not a complete bid. They did not bid on 14 locations in the two areas. Our recommendation is for the low bid that was complete and met all requirements, Golden Rule Lawn Care for $85,760.00
This purchase was approved in the 2013 budgeting process.
