RE:	Fourth Addendum to City Manager’s Employment Contract

Background

Pursuant to the Mayor’s request, I have prepared a Fourth Addendum to the City Manager’s Employment Contract for the City Commission’s consideration and approval.  A summary of the City Manager’s current employment agreement is attached.  The Fourth Addendum increases the City Manager’s annual compensation from $130,000.00 to $140,000.00.  It also increases the City’s annual contribution to a deferred compensation program on behalf of the City Manager from $16,500.00 to $19,000.00. The Fourth Addendum provides the amendments described above will be effective as of the first regular pay period of 2013.  

Action Requested

Authorize the Mayor to execute the Fourth Addendum to the City Manager’s Employment Contract.
