RE:	3/4 ton truck for Property Maintenance

Please place the following item on the consent agenda for the City Commission to consider at their May 27, 2013 meeting:

Background:

Property Maintenance Division of Public Works has requested bids to replace one ¾ ton utility body truck that has high maintenance costs and reached the end of service life. The new truck will be outfitted with a V type snow plow to assist with clearing parking lots at Public Works facilities.

Recommendations

Central Maintenance Garage staff recommends the low bid from Laird Noller with the addition of the option listed below their bid in the following bid tab.

Note; Shawnee Mission Ford included this option in their bid.

Funding

Funding for this purchase was approved in the 2013 budget process.
