Set a bid opening date of July 2, 2013 for Bid Number B1338 for 2013 Utilities Department Pump & Motor Rehabilitation Program.
Project Description
Utilities Department is requesting to bid eleven (11) pumps and motors (out of 532) for rebuild or replacement from the maintenance management system. These are the pumps and motors used in the transportation of water and wastewater used at the treatment plants and throughout the city. This is the Pump and Rehabilitation Program that the Department has used to maintain the reliability of the pumping system for numerous years. In an effort to consolidate and make the process more efficient for city personnel and vendors, the eleven (11) pumps and motors will be bid at once instead of individually. A pre-bid meeting is planned for June 11th to review the specifications and expectations with potential bidders. Project Funding
Funding for the work is from the Utilities Department 2013 Operations and Maintenance Budget.
