RE:	Public Works Street Division Employee’s Earn Awards at Recent Snow Roadeo Completion.

Recently a number of Public Works / Street Division employees participated in the annual American Public Works Association, KS Chapter Snow Roadeo competition. The snow roadeo is a skills and knowledge completion where equipment operators are tested on their knowledge of the equipment and their skills to navigate an obstacle coarse while performing agility use of the equipment. The competition consisted of motor grader, snow plow, back hoe and front end loader.

The City of Lawrence took first and third place in the front end loader and second place in the motor grader completions.
