Award Bid No. B1763 for one (1) Roll Off container truck for the Solid Waste Division to the low bidder, American Equipment Co., in the amount of $112,145, as part of the 2018 CIP (PW 18F5CIP) replacement schedule.

 

 

Executive Summary:

Solid Waste identified the replacement of roll off unit #439 in the 2018 budget and 2018 CIP (PW 18F5CIP).  Unit #439 has been identified to meet the replacement criteria that utilizes age, maintenance, and upkeep.  Bids were received on January 2, 2018 for the replacement of this unit.  Roll off container trucks are a vital function of commercial refuse operations. Keeping reliable replacements of roll off trucks enables uninterrupted service for customers.

Fiscal Impact (Amount/Source):

The fiscal impact to the City is $$112,145.00.  This unit pricing includes a trade for unit #439.  This replacement was planned for in the 2018 CIP and budgeted for $150,000 (PW 18F5CIP).
