ORDINANCE NO. 9432

AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF LAWRENCE, KANSAS ALLOWING THE POSSESSION AND CONSUMPTION OF ALCOHOLIC LIQUOR ON CERTAIN SPECIFIED PUBLIC PROPERTY

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE GOVERNING BODY OF THE CITY OF LAWRENCE, KANSAS:

SECTION 1. Pursuant to City of Lawrence Code Section 4-105(E), the prohibition of the sale, possession, and consumption of alcoholic liquor on public property shall not apply to 800 block of Pennsylvania Street from 8^th to 9^th Streets and on the 600 block of E. 8^th Street (New Jersey St. to Delaware St.), on Saturday, May 5, 2018 from 4:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m., associated with the Kansas Food Truck Festival organized by the Cider Gallery; provided the sale, possession and consumption of alcoholic liquor are pursuant to City of Lawrence and State of Kansas law.

SECTION 2. This Ordinance shall take effect and be in force from and after its adoption and publication as provided by law.
