Approve a Special Event Permit, SE-18-00103, for an outdoor event adjacent to The Granada located at 1020 Massachusetts Street on March 31, April 2, and April 5, 2018. Submitted by Mike Logan, on behalf of Allen Press, property owner of record. The weekend event on the dates listed will include a small band, video screens, local vendors, a food truck and beer garden. |

Executive Summary: |
As a part of the Special Event Permit review process, events categorized as Type 5 (public events primarily for entertainment) require City Commission approval.
The applicant proposes to have a Parking Lot BBQ sale on March 31, 2018, April 2, 2018, and April 5, 2018 in the vacant lot located at 1020 Massachusetts Street. The event, including set up time, will run from 11:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. The event is intended to provide a local entertainment draw for outside economic impact.
