ORDINANCE NO. 9448

AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF LAWRENCE, KANSAS ALLOWING THE SALE, POSSESSION AND CONSUMPTION OF ALCOHOLIC LIQUOR ON CERTAIN SPECIFIED PUBLIC PROPERTY

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE GOVERNING BODY OF THE CITY OF LAWRENCE, KANSAS:

SECTION 1.  Pursuant to City of Lawrence Code Section 4-105(E), the prohibition of the sale, possession, and consumption of alcoholic liquor on public property shall not apply to the 100 block of E 8^th Street and the intersection of 8^th Street and New Hampshire Street from 12:00 p.m. – 11:00 p.m. on April 20, 2018, provided the sale, possession and consumption are pursuant to City of Lawrence and State of Kansas law.

SECTION 2.  This Ordinance shall take effect and be in force from and after its adoption and publication as provided by law.
