Executive Summary: |
The Lawrence Boys and Girls Club / Over the Edge event organizers have applied for a street event temporary use of right-of-way permit for their 2018 event, to be held on Saturday, August 25, 2018.
The event applicant has requested an ordinance authorizing the sale, possession, and consumption of alcohol in the E. 200 block of 9th Street during their event.
The request to sell, possess, and consume alcohol within the public right-of-way has been reviewed pursuant to City of Lawrence Code, Chapter IV, Article 1, Section 4-113 and was found to not be within 400 feet of a church or school. |
