Executive Summary: |
At its August 7, 2018 meeting, the City Commission received public comment requesting the City to publish the website edition of the Standard Traffic Ordinance (STO). The League of Kansas Municipalities allows cities to purchase an electronic version for $50.00/annually and the public would have access to it via the City’s official website. Staff believes obtaining an electronic version is feasible and is currently researching options that would adequately address concerns about merging local amendments with the official STO, while still providing convenient online access to the public. The official copy of the STO would continue to be held in hard copy format in the City Clerk’s office, as required by law.
