RE:	Release of Condition and Restriction 722 Lawrence Avenue, Lawrence, Kansas 66046

The attached Release of Condition and Restriction has been prepared at the request of a realtor who represents the owner of 722 Lawrence Avenue in an attempt to sell the property.  The current deed contains a restriction that cannot be released without the written authorization of the City of Lawrence. The Release is designed to protect the City and its representatives against claims by third parties who might claim the City should not have released the conditions and restriction of record. Staff recommends execution of the attached release.

Action Requested:

Authorize Mayor to execute a Release of Condition and Restriction for 722 Lawrence Avenue.
