Recommendations/Options/Action Requested:
Conduct a public hearing to consider a vacation request submitted by Matt Bond, City of Lawrence, Stormwater Engineer for James A. McKinley, to vacate a portion of an existing 15-foot utility easement along the north side of 417 Cattleman Court (Lot 8, Block 6).
Executive Summary:		The proposed vacation is for 7.5 feet of an existing 15-foot utility easement along the north side of Lot 8, Block 6 of Westland Addition, also known as 417 Cattleman Court. In consideration of dedicating a drainage easement to the City for a storm sewer project along the south property line of Lot 8, Block 6, the property owner has requested the vacation of an existing utility easement along the north side of Lot 8, Block 6 be vacated. The property owner prefers not to have two easements encumbering the property. All utilities as well as property owners within 200 feet, were notified and no objections were received.  Staff recommends approving the Order of Vacation.
