Accept dedications and vacations of easements associated with Minor Subdivision, MS-18-00217, for Firefighter Park Subdivision, located at 1941 Haskell Avenue. |
Executive Summary: |
An acceptance of utility/drainage easements in association with the Minor Subdivision MS-18-00217, Firefighter Park Subdivision. This minor subdivision includes vacation of existing easements on site that were established with the previous plat for Bowling Square in 1958 and do not contain infrastructure.
The new utility and drainage easements will enable utilities to serve all three parcels created with this minor subdivision and for existing infrastructure already existing on site. This minor subdivision is reconfiguring the block from 36 residential parcels to 3 parcels, which will accommodate the existing Parks and Recreation facility, Chief Jim McSwain Park, Fire Department training facilities, and the leased social service organization office. The minor subdivision is an administrative process requiring any easements and/or rights-of-way vacations and dedications being accepted through City Commission approval. |
