On 10/11/04 at 3:30 p.m. to correct the date to Thursday, October 14 for the Lights on After School proclamation.
On 10/11/04 at 10:00 a.m. added correspondence to Regular Agenda Item No. 2.
The following updates were made on 10/08/04 at 1:45 p.m.:
- Added corrected city commission meeting minutes to consent agenda item 1;
- Corrected the rezoning number on Ordinance 7793, consent agenda item 8-a;
- Added road alignment maps and text amendments to transportation 2025 to regular agenda item 2.

2. Proclaim the month of October as “NATIONAL DISABILITY EMPLOYMENT AWARENESS MONTH.”

7. Adopt Ordinance No. 7835, annexing approximately 1 acre generally located north of Riverridge Road and east of North Iowa (John Joyce tract). 8. Adopt the following ordinance(s) on second and final reading:
a) Ordinance No. 7793,
rezoning [Z-03-17-04] [Z-03-13-04]a tract
of land approximately 2.73 acres from A (Agricultural) District to RM-1
(Multiple-Family Residential) District. The property is generally described as
being located south of Overland Drive and east of E 1000 (Queens) Road.

b) Ordinance No. 7830, rezoning [Z-07-27-04] two tracts of land; one approximately .32 acre and the second approximately .26 acre form M-3 (Intensive Industrial) District to C-5 (Limited Commercial) District. c) Ordinance No. 7709, rezoning [Z-08-25-03] a tract of land approximately 1.0181 acres from A (Agricultural) District to PRD-2 (Planned Residential Development) District. ACTION: Sign letter of agreement, if appropriate.
2. Consider approving CPA-2004-01 and receive Planning Commission recommendation to amend Comprehensive Plan (Horizon 2020) to amend the Major Thoroughfares Maps (Figures 14 & 15) to designate two additional east-west arterials along the general alignment of the extension of Peterson Road west to George Williams Way and the extension of Stetson Drive to Wakarusa Drive on the Major Thoroughfares Maps.
